Glen MooreGlen Moores tourism and hospitality marketing career has spanned more than 36 years. His experience includes work in advertising, convention centres and resorts planning, and implementing community-wide tourism campaigns. Glen is past chairman of the Canadian Automobile Association in Ontario and past chair of CAAs council of governors. He is a past director of the Travel Association of Canada, Eastern Ontario Travel Association, and past president of the Canadian Association of Convention Bureaux. Glen was executive vice president and chief executive officer of the Ottawa Visitors and Convention Bureau. He was also the vice president, marketing at the Mont Ste. Marie Resort and Conference Centre. Neil BeaudryNeil Beaudry is a senior associate of the St. Clements Group. He has overseen diverse corporate, community and cultural programmes over his 25-year career. Neil understandings both the strategic and tactical aspects of marketing campaigns for a variety of different products, services, and ideas. He has experience as an executive in government, arts and cultural agencies, and as an advertising account director for several national accounts with international target audiences. Past projects involve media relations, group travel programmes, special events, sponsorship, ethnocultural access, and corporate identity awareness.
Nathan RapoportNathan is president of Triple J Production Inc., The St. Clements Group’s joint venture partner. Nathan brings considerable expertise in broadcasting and corporate production with over 12 years experience in the entertainment and communications industry. Some recent projects include: Stories From My Childhood with Mikhail Barishnykov, (13 half hour animated series starring such notable actors as Jessica Lange, Darryl Hannah, Rob Lowe and Shirley Maclaine; a direct to home video, IBM’s Family Guide to the Internet co-produced with IBM; and Martin Short’s Home Safe, CD-ROM which deals with home safety in an entertaining and educational manner. Nathan is formerly vice president of Supercorp Entertainment, a company co-owned by Labatt Breweries and executive producer at Magder Entertainment and Motion Picture Video. Doug Fisher is president of FHG International Inc., The St. Clements Group's foodservice industry joint venture partner. Doug has a MSc degree and is a Certified Management Consultant. Doug has extensive experience in strategic planning and business organizations with particular expertise in foodservice development. He has assisted organizations in conceptual planning, implementing internal control systems, putting in place operating strategies, marketing, and labour management. Doug is a professional member of Foodservice Consultants Society International, a former board member of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Ontario (1993-1996), a member of the Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Ontario, a member of the Canadian Franchise Association, and sits on the Hospitality Recreation & Tourism Post Graduation Programme advisory committee at Humber College. Edwin LooEdwin specializes in electronic media including the strategic use of the web and electronic channels. He is formerly vice president and COO of Steel Monkeys which specializes in computer gaming, on-line publishing and computer-generated animation. Edwin has been in the electronic media business for over 20 years with stints with games and web development companies in the US, Canada and overseas. He began his career as a computer animator before becoming an art director and producer and finally progressed to overseeing overall game development. Wes WenhardtWes is an associate of The St. Clements Group Inc. and the executive director of the Vancouver Maritime Museum. He is an accomplished senior marketing and business operations executive with experience in both for profit and non-profit organizations, in both start-up and established environments. He is well grounded in planning and opening science centers, museums and cultural attractions around the world. Wes is highly regarded as a team leader and innovator with a proven ability to develop new business, motivate people and surpass revenue targets. Evelyn WilsonEvelyn specializes in educational and training issues. She is formerly the senior superintendent of programs for the East York Board of Education. She led the development of computer curriculum standards for elementary students; provided and implemented strategic plans for teacher in-service in the area of technology; spearheaded innovative computer-based programs of learning in both elementary and secondary schools; supervised the East York research department; and sat on the East York information management committee. As a school superintendent with the Toronto District School Board, Evelyn supervised SATEC, a specialized secondary school devoted to computer technology, co-developed a board policy dealing with accountability and evaluation, assisted schools in the selection and use of educational software, and was the project manager for the Ontario English and ESL secondary school curriculum. Maria MilanettiMaria specializes in heathcare, not-for-profit, and community-centred communications and marketing programmes. She specializes in helping companies and clients to live the brand promise through organizational development and coaching processes. Maria is formerly the vice president of communications at the Rouge Valley Health Corporation and a senior planning and communications executive in several other organizations. Maria has extensive communications experience especially working with media in crisis management as well as the day-to-day management of a multi-site communications strategy with audiences as diverse as the public, the media, staff, funders, stakeholders, and communications partners. She has broad experience working with organizations to develop and roll-out communications campaigns and in brand management. Mairi MacDonaldMairi specializes in legal issues with a particular focus on policy development. Mairi has worked on a number of regulatory policy-oriented consulting studies on matters as diverse as money laundering and support for Canadian periodicals. Before setting up her law practice and consultancy, Mairi was general counsel and director of regulatory affairs for the Canadian Business Telecommunications Alliance. She worked for the federal government for several years before that, first in the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission and then for the Department of Justice as legal counsel to the Department of Communications. She has extensive experience in the development of policy and legislative frameworks for cultural content and transmission industries. Her exposure to the policy development process is derived from her experience as an employee of federal government departments and agencies, and over a decade representing the interests of major industry players affected by their policies. Mairi was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1986.
